New Dental Officer Program (NDOP)

New Dental Officer Program (NDOP) at the School of Dental Sciences (PPSG), Universiti Sains Malaysia Health Campus, is an elite, structured training pathway designed for newly graduated dental officers.

Serving as a compulsory clinical service and professional development initiative, NDOP spans one (1) full year of immersive training. The program is carefully aligned with the mandated regulations of the Ministry of Health (MOH) and the Malaysian Dental Council (MDC), ensuring all participants transition seamlessly from academic study to confident, independent clinical practice.

Program Objectives

Our mission is to nurture well-rounded, ethical, and highly skilled dental practitioners. The NDOP achieves this by focusing on six core pillars:

Comprehensive Program Structure

The NDOP offers a holistic learning environment by providing deep, structured exposure to multiple essential dental disciplines. Over the course of the one-year program, officers will rotate through and gain experience in:

  • 🦷 Restorative Dentistry & Endodontics
  • 🦷 Paediatric Dentistry
  • 🦷 General Practice & Community Dentistry

Fees

  • Program Fee: RM 15,000 per year
