The Dental Clinic service at Hospital Universiti Sains Malaysia started in September 2000. At the beginning of the service, it had two dental chairs and was located near the A&E Unit of Hospital USM, providing only basic clinical services to the Health Campus staff and their family members.

Due to the high demand for services and the number of patients, the service was moved to a new building in December 2002. We offer a full range of dental services provided by Dental Specialists, Dental Officers, Dental Students and Dental Therapists. The service is supported by Dental Technologists, Radiologists, Dental Surgical Assistants (DSA) and Healthcare Assistants.
