The Cobalt-Chrome Unit is one of the core expertise areas within the Dental Technology Laboratory, specialising in the fabrication of metal-based and flexible prostheses. These prostheses are designed to provide excellent strength, durability, and patient comfort, particularly for removable partial dentures and advanced dental restorations.

  • Cobalt-Chrome Removable Partial Dentures

 

  • Flexible Dentures

 

Roles and Activities:

  • Supporting teaching and learning activities for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Dental students.

  • Participating in research and development (R&D) projects related to cobalt-chrome and flexible prostheses.

  • Fabricating dental prostheses for HPUSM patients, Executive Dental Clinic patients, and private dental clinic cases.
